EMERSON, Ga. – The 16th annual 15u WWBA National Championship gets underway in Northwest Atlanta on Friday. This year’s tournament will run for eight straight days, culminating with a winner-take-all championship game at LakePoint on July 20.

Three hundred twenty-eight teams will compete in 41 pools of eight teams over the course of a six-day pool play section, with the 41 pool winners moving on to a single elimination championship bracket. Playoffs will begin the night of July 18.

This year’s tournament features many ranked players in the class of 2021. Dulin’s Dodgers 15u Prime features the Nos. 1 and 5 players in the class in Blaze Jordan and Nick Bitsko. Jordan and Bitsko are committed Mississippi State and Virginia, respectively, and they are part of a Dodgers team that played up and competed in the 16u WWBA National Championship this past week.

Other highly ranked players that will be in attendance at this year’s tournament include: Luke Leto (No. 2, Louisiana State) and Grant Taylor (No. 3, Louisiana State) for Team Elite Prime 15u, and Irving Carter (No. 8, Miami) of Elite Squad 15u National.
