Ultimate Baseball Championship Scout Notes: Day 1 | Day 2 | Day 3

Turning in a very impressive performance out of the bullpen was Braden Montgomery (2021, Madison, Miss.) who showed a significant amount of upside on the mound while all week showing he’s one of the more touted two-way players in the class. The Stanford commit has excellent size to go with substantial physical projection in his 6-2, 201 pound frame that gives him a very high ceiling. Montgomery does it with a very low effort too and showed good feel for a curveball in the low to mid 70's along with a low 80's changeup. Offensively, Montgomery was hitting the ball very hard this week and has a smooth stroke from the left side. He’s been generating significant impact and has substantial upside on both sides of the ball moving forward.
