Aaron Babaev (2024, Glen Head, N.Y.) had himself a night at the plate Friday night going 2-for-3 with a big fly and a loud double off the center field fence with two RBI to his credit. Showcasing some serious power projection at the plate for Vendetta Baseball Academy, the powerful Babaev showed an elevated stroke, using his long levers to really get extended through the ball at the point of contact. Generating tons of bat speed, Babaev displayed advanced feel for the barrel as the sound the ball made coming off his bat echoed throughout the complex. The young sophomore roamed center field on a chilly October night, displaying athleticism on both sides of the ball with long strides and a plus-arm. It’s hard to miss Babaev as he stands at 6-foot-4, 195 pounds, just oozing projection and will be certainly one to watch as he fills out his frame.
