Eoghan Collins (2024, Magnolia, Texas) was as competitive as they come in his playoff performance. Spinning a gem of a complete game in the quarter finals, he dialed in after a tough first inning and put his full potential on display. His best pitch is his changeup that he pitches off of with a low-80s fastball that has running life. The changeup has excellent fading action and is clean out the hand, and it certainly creates deception, making the fastball look firm and drew a lot of bad barrels. He was very effective pitching to contact and garnering ground balls and working ahead in counts. Collins demonstrated a quality feel to pitch in this outing, the delivery is fluid and simple with a clear feel for his craft and two-pitch mix.
