Jake Evans (2025, Spring, Texas) oozes upside on the mound and showed why on the hill during the semifinals. He has a loose, whippy low three-quarter slot with easy armspeed. He ran it up to 87 mph and lived more mid-80s with hard sink and life. The slider is simply advanced with sweep and real traits at 69-72 mph. He also flashed a pair of effective changeups to lefties. The mix combined with the projection looks real at this stage of the class, and he’s an uncommitted name to get familiar with quickly. 

Ezequiel “Zeke” Ramierez (2025, Pearland, Texas) strung together some loud barrels over the week. He’s a physical, athletic 6-foot-3, 205-pound frame and uses it. He gets into his backside well with plenty of intent with some heavy hands at contact. It’s real strength off the barrel that plays best to the pull side as he opens up the hips.
