Cooper Moore (2023, Bixby, Okla.) took the ball on day one for the Chi Town Cream and turned in a gem of a performance. The Kansas commit went the distance tossing seven innings of no hit ball. The fastball sat around 90 mph for the entirety of the outing while topping out at 92 mph. Off the fastball he relied heavily on the changeup to the arm side landing it with depth as left-handed hitters were unable to lay off chasing out of the zone as part of his four strikeouts. He was able to count on his defense throughout the game as they turned his weak contact into outs allowing him to work efficient innings with very few high stress pitches. At the plate Moore also helped his own cause reaching base twice with a base hit as well as a walk.
