All year long we have celebrated the game we love as we have viewed it through the lens of college baseball and were we ever treated to a marvelous show in 2024! The College World Series continues gain popularity, attendance records continue to be broken and the landscape of the NIL world continues to evolve. The game is alive and well, players continue to develop at a high level and programs are investing financially like never before.

So, here we go with our last Top-25 poll of the year. The Tennessee Volunteers (60-13) finish the year atop the polls after winning a thrilling series against No. 2 Texas A&M (53-15). The Vols put together one of the most impressive seasons in modern history as they won a share of the SEC Regular Season, the SEC Tournament and ran all the way to the National Championship. As hard as it is to believe, they are the first No. 1 seed to win it all since 1999 and the first 60-win team in SEC history. The Aggies finish just behind them and played in the first CWS Championship series in program history. No. 3 Florida State (49-17) were one out away from taking down the eventual national champs in Game 1 of the CWS and would claw their way back to finish (2-2) in the event. The Florida Gators (36-30) where an enigma for most of the year until postseason play and come in at No. 4 in the final poll. Riding their own historic season, No. 5 Kentucky (46-16) made their first ever appearance in Omaha.

Four ACC teams round out our Top-10 with No. 6 North Carolina (48-16), No. 7 NC State (38-23), No. 8 Virginia (46-17) and No. 9 Clemson (44-16), while No. 10 Georgia (43-17) closes things out. Recruiting is in full-swing, it will be interesting to see which programs land the best transfers and 2025 should be every bit as entertaining as the year we just witnessed.
