16/17u Battle for the MW Notes: Day 1

Logan Campbell (2025, Lakeville, Minn.) started the weekend off with a bang, getting it done for his team on both sides of the ball. He consistently got it done for his team and was able to drive the ball well, picking up a couple of hits, moving the needle, and showing good strength off it. He has an impressive left-handed stroke and added a double and home run to his credit on the day. He also took to the mound, working the 82-85 mph range on the fastball with some arm-side life to it. He has a longer arm action with some whip through his release. He showed a slurvy mid-70s breaking ball in the mix as well. Campbell threw 4.0 innings, allowing 1 hit and striking out 7 opposing hitters. Campbell is a South Dakota State Jackrabbits commit.
