What an impressive true first class for this second-year Rob Vaughn regime. The staff's approach is unquestioned with a Head Coach that has deep ties in the DMV and Northeast regions. They are showing real strength in their recruiting capabilities up and down the eastern seaboard and it's a recipe bound for success. Keep the premier in-state talent in the fold while sniping some of the top talent outside the region.

On this run through the Bama 2025 class, let’s start at home. The Tide locks in 3 of our top 4 players in the state with the two big thumpers Caleb Barnett and Eric Hines, as well as the power arm of Ma'Kale Holden. The trio will certainly draw professional looks but given the propensity in the shortened draft for teams to lean college over prep in the early rounds, it's not out of the realm of possibility to see all three of these guys adding significant impact to the top end of the Crimson Tide roster in 2026.

Pitching Coach Jason Jackson has to be excited about what this group can bring to this roster. A Maryland native and former PG All American, Myles Upchurch, headlines the bunch with his standout command of an explosive arsenal. Evan Taylor, Ma'Kale Holden, Ross Lindsey and Luke Smyers round out the prep side of things on the mound. This is a well-balanced crew that checks a lot of the major boxes and could grow into the next great set of Tide arms.
