Parker Van Engelenhoven is a 2026 RHP/SS with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Powell, OH who attends Olentangy Liberty. Features a long, lean build with plenty of projectability. Primary righthanded pitcher. Threw exclusively out of the stretch. Utilizes a high leg kick into a long stride down the mound. Throws from a high 3/4 slot with quality arm speed. Gets good extension out front. The fastball sat 77-81 mph with the ability to move it to all four quadrants. Showed the ability to get ahead of hitters often. Paired the fastball with two distinct breaking balls. The upper-60’s curveball with 11-5 action showed good depth. The slider sat in the mid-70’s with late sweeping action when thrown well. A very intriguing young arm with a quality pitch mix present and projectable build. Arm strength translated on the infield. Long arm action release produce strong carry on throws. Threw 77 mph across the diamond. Showed the ability to catch the ball consistently throughout defensive workouts. Still developing footwork on approach to ground balls. Will allow the arm to play more consistently. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes an upright stance with a slightly open base. Showcased sound swing mechanics. Slight uppercut path helps drive the ball in the air. Will catch the ball out front. Adding more strength to the frame will help increase the bat speed and boost the power profile. Ran a 7.88 60-yard dash. Excellent student. Named to the Indianapolis Indoor Top Prospect List.
