Andrew Holt is a 2010 C/IF with a 5'11'', 180 lb. frame from Bloomington, IL who attends Central Catholic HS. Medium athletic build, likely to get stronger. Spread stance, balanced hitting approach, nice easy swing, line drive plane, hits to all fields, squares up well, recognizes pitches early, handles the barrell. Runs well for a catcher, 7.07. Catching mechanics still developing, has some arm strength, also has infield experience and could grade higher there. Bat is best tool and needs to be followed.
