Stewart Rich is a 2012 RHP/1B with a 6-5 185 lb. frame from Macon, GA who attends Mt. DeSales Academy. Tall slender frame, high waist. Multi-part delivery, long arm in back, short in front, low 3/4's arm slot, some effort at release. Low 80's fastball, touched 83 mph, good arm side running action at times. Sweeping curveball, early flat break but has good feel for location, some fade to change up. Gets hitters to swing the bat, hard to project off pitching mechanics. Right handed hitter, tall stance, short rotational swing, spray contact. Good student.
