Brian Castles is a 2012 RHP/SS with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from Holbrook, NY who attends Sachem East. Lean athletic build, room to fill out and add strength. High 3/4 arm slot on the mound, short loose arm action, velocity projects well, feel for 11-5 curveball, armside run on fastball, around the plate with all pitches. Aggressive hitting approach, short quick swing, simple, good hands, squares the ball up well, really swung it during the games, hitting tools project even more with added strength. Clean infield actions, good agility, throws carry, accurate, goes up the middle well. Solid student.
