Omar Smith is a 2011 MIF with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Mobile, AL who attends B C Rain HS. Strong compact build, especially in the lower half. 6.73 speed, good infield actions on the move, circles well, throws carry well, shows his athleticism. Switch-hitter, much better bat speed and swing right handed. Preload approach, short swing, low hands, stays inside, has some strength and raw bat speed, occasional lift.
