Ty Harp is a 2013 SS/RHP with a 5-8 155 lb. frame from Wills Point, TX who attends Wills Point HS. Medium to smaller athletic build. 7.29 runner, shows good first step and range defensively, good body control, arm strength still developing in the field. Short swing, stays inside the ball, line drive approach, will step out occasionally, fluid swing, squares up well, developing bat speed. Arm strength showed better on the mound, upper 70's fastball, topped at 79 mph, good balanced leg raise delivery, pounded the strike zone, pitched effectively. Good all around young athlete.
