Andrew Carrillo is a 2012 MIF/ with a 5-8 155 lb. frame from West Covina, CA who attends Covina. Lean, athletic build with room to fill. Aggressive fielder who attacks ball with hands. Quick release on throws across infield. Velcoity on throws from high arm slot. Relaxed approach at plate. Keeps weight back. Short, simple swing with quickness to that ball. Showed whippy bat speed and hands worked to take ball where its pitched. Short finish with minimal loft. Good student.
