TJ Richardson is a 2014 C/ with a 5-10 185 lb. frame from Sugar Hill, GA who attends Lanier. Has a medium compact frame with a strong athletic build. Has a square stance at the plate with a good eye and has a sound approach at the plate. Has a direct swing path to the ball, a short quick swing and does a good job of staying inside the ball. Showed good bat speed at the plate with pop in his bat, making consistent line drive contact hitting the ball to all fields. Displayed good actions behind the plate with a quick transfer and release, throws are accurate and online with arm strength. Is a very good student who should be followed closely.
