Landon Silver is a 2016 OF/IF with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Huntington Beach, CA who attends Huntington Beach HS. Large frame, broad shoulders with athletic, muscular build with impressive present strength, athleticism. Ran a 6.71 60-yard dash. Flashed big arm strength, hit 92 mph from the outfield in defensive drills. Right handed hitter, wide base with high hands, active hand trigger. Good hand quickness, able to whip the barrel through the zone, strong upper body swing, puts a charge into the ball, good carry off the barrel, especially to the pullside. Solid present raw power, good overall skillset that projects well. Very good student. Verbal commitment to UC Santa Barbara.
