Drew Finley is a 2015 RHP/1B with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from San Diego, CA who attends Rancho Bernardo HS. Large build with very broad shoulders, good present strength with room for more. Simple delivery with a compact arm action, hides the ball very well, tight high 3/4's arm slot, creates good downhill plane, stays balanced and on line and repeats well. Fastball topped out at 90 mph, mostly straight with occasional sink down in the zone, gets on hitters quickly due to deception. Tight mid-70's breaking ball with good 12/6 downer depth at times. Some feel for a change up with good arm speed at release. Three quality pitches with good command. Good student, verbal commitment to Southern California. Selected for the Perfect Game All-American Classic.
