James Ethredge is a 2014 RHP/3B with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Mount Vernon, GA who attends Toombs County HS. Medium athletic build. Long loose arm action, high 3/4's slot, hides ball well in back, repeats delivery pretty well. Fastball to 84 mph with good arm side run at times, some trouble getting fastball to glove side, topped out at 86 at every WWBA event this summer. Hard curveball spin with tight bite and good depth, confident in curve and will throw at any time in count. Throws strikes, stays low in the zone and works ahead in the count. Right handed hitter, limited weight shift, short compact swing, raises up through contact, has some lift and extension, good swing plane. Good student.
