Austin Hurwitz is a 2016 C with a 6-0 225 lb. frame from Boca Raton, FL who attends Spanish River HS. Thick strong build, especially in the lower half. Right handed hitter, wide open stance, aggressive approach, looking to pull and lift but strong enough to drive the RCF gap as well, long loose swing with power. Quick exchange behind the plate, compact arm action, has some arm strength, 1.94 best pop time, can improve footwork and overall foot quickness. Good student.
