Blake Hodgens is a 2015 LHP/ with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Wesley Chapel, FL who attends Gaither. Tall, strongly built, lean, athletic frame with more room to fill out. Plus speed. Ran a 6.91 60 yard dash. Pitches from an over the top arm slot and creates a good downhill angle on his pitches. Commands everything very well and has a low effort delivery. Pitches at 83-85 mph with his fastball and knows how to change eye levels. Confident pitching with his fastball. Mixes a 72 mph curveball with 11-5 depth. Also flashes a changeup at 76 mph. Potential for a three pitch mix with good location. High upside lefty. Excellent student. Named to Top Prospect list.
