Jared Williams is a 2014 SS/MIF with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Burlington, KY who attends Conner. Williams has along lean build with room to fill out and add strength. Hits from both sides of the plate. From the right side, hits from an open stance, leg lift start and gets foot down early. Shows short line drive swing plane and stays inside the ball and has quick hands. Developing from the left side with an open stance, flashes line drive contact with a mid field to opposite field approach. Defensively, good footwork circling the ball. Comes through the ball nicely, can pick it clean. Has solid actions but will need to develop with arm strength to stay at SS. Outstanding Student.
