Chase Solesky is a 2016 RHP/3B with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Fort Pierce, FL who attends John Carroll Catholic HS. Strong athletic build, pretty mature physically. Simple and easily repeatable pitching mechanics, stays balanced well, compact arm action hides the ball effectively from a high 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 85 mph, have seen in the upper 80's frequently in the past, pounded the bottom of the strike zone with his fastball and pitched to contact, fastball mostly straight. Nice change up with deception and some fading action. Soft curveball with a sweeping 10/4 break. Has an idea how to pitch and throws strikes with all pitches. Good student.
