Tyler Payne is a 2015 SS/2B with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Chattanooga, TN who attends Mccallie HS. Slender young middle infielder's build, room to get stronger. Second base look and tools, shows plus quickness and range, solid athletic balance, has run 6.7 in the sixty in the past, speed and athleticism play well defensively. Left handed hitter, short contact swing, gets barrel out early, spray line drive contact, situational/lead off type hitter who understands what he is trying to do at the plate. High energy/High baseball IQ player who will overachieve. Good student.
