Brandon Lam is a 2016 OF/2B with a 5-6 135 lb. frame from Bradenton, FL who attends Lakewood Ranch. Small athletic frame, quick twitch, lean build that projects with continued growth. Strong runner, posted a 6.75 60 yard dash, gets out of the box very well, aggressive on the bases with speed. Quick feet in the outfield, covers ground with athletic actions, attacks the ball. Arm strength will continue to develop, needs to get on top of throws, tools play in centerfield. Right handed hitter, starts from a slightly open stance and uses a leg lift trigger. Long stride to ball, has quick hands and a line drive swing plane, sound approach at the plate, creates hard contact to the middle and opposite fields. Excellent student.
