Yan Rivera is a 2014 2B/SS with a 5-11 147 lb. frame from Caguas, PR who attends Notre Dame HS. Slender young athletic build. 6.84 runner, very active high motor game defender, very good at positioning himself, shows range and made a number of plus plays, has plus body control, best position is second base, arm strength still developing. Right handed hitter, short swing with some hand quickness, stays inside the ball, good mature approach, solid contact against upper 80's velocity. Game skills much more impressive than workout tools, knows how to play the game and performs.
