Darren Shred is a 2015 C/RHP with a 6-2 200 lb. frame from Brampton, ON who attends St. Roch Catholic HS. Big strong athletic build with room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, high hand start, long loose swing with big separation out front, has strength and present bat speed, has lift to centerfield and flashes pull power as well, big top spin at times, will have to shorten it up but has the tools to develop, swung the bat well in games with hard contact. 7.21 runner, low flexible set behind the plate, game actions in drills, 1.91 best pop time in drills, 2.00 in game, low rotational release slot with very good arm strength, accurate. Works hard behind the plate and performed. Raw in many actions but has lots of athletic ability and tools to develop.
