Alex Hackworth is a 2016 2B/RHP with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Ballwin, MO who attends Parkway South HS. Slender young build, lots of room to get stronger. Did not throw due to arm soreness but did take drills, was light and athletic on his feet with soft hands at the ball, quality footwork, middle infield actions. Right handed hitter. High leg kick trigger, front foot tends to get down late, has some bat speed and the ability to drive the ball when his foot gets down, loose extension out front, will improve with adjustments and additional strength. Good young athlete who needs to be seen when healthy. Excellent student.
