Rodney Randers, Jr. is a 2016 RHP with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Fayetteville, GA who attends Sandy Creek HS. Medium athletic build, has good present strength especially in his lower half. Over the top arm slot, upper half rotational delivery, can use his strong lower half better to generate velocity. Fastball topped out at 81 mph, has been up to 84 at WWBA events this summer and fall, mostly straight, does a good job of working downhill and locating low in the zone. Curveball will show good spin and some 11/5 depth at times. Has an idea how to pitch and challenges hitters with strikes. Can improve with adjustments. Good student. Named to the Showcase Top Prospect Team.
