2016 PG Underclass All American Games
Kade Self is a 2018 C/1B/3B with a 6-2 215 lb. frame from Shawnee, OK who attends Shawnee HS. Big and strong build. Very athletic for his size, ran a 6.88 sixty at the PG Junior National Showcase. Sound fundamentals behind the plate, has been well coached, good footwork with clean execution blocking and throwing, game actions in drills, solid arm strength with some carry. Right handed hitter, starts with his hands forward, exaggerated short contact oriented swing, has strength and bat speed in reserve if he were to open up his swing, mid field line drive contact. Very good student.
