Ryan Harris is a 2017 LHP with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Rosenberg, TX who attends George Ranch HS. Harris has a medium sized frame with a thicker build. He pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with a clean arm action. he uses a simple leg raise delivery and is directional to the plate. He repeats his delivery well and threw a lot of strikes. Harris gets some run on his fastball and located it to both sides of the plate. He throws a 1/7 curveball with good shape and bite to it. He also threw a short breaking slider that missed barrels. He also threw a change up at 71 MPH with some run on it. Harris has some pitchability and threw 4 pitches for strikes. At the plate Harris has a shorter swing path and has some pop. The ball jumps of his bat and barreled the ball up well. Very good student.
