Matthew Luke Comerford is a 2018 LHP with a 5-8 130 lb. frame from West Palm Beach, FL who attends Lake Worth Christian HS. Very young, slender build with minimal present strength. Sound delivery and loose, smooth arm action, 3/4's arm slot, keeps front side closed well, hides the ball and has deception, repeatable delivery. Mid-70's fastball, cuts it at times glove side. Curveball best present pitch, throws strikes at will and locates, missed lots of bats. Shows surprising mound presence for his age, fields position well. Young lefty with a bright future as he matures and gets stronger, has no problem getting older hitters out. Good student.
