Forrest Hisey is a 2015 RHP/OF with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Ardrossan, AB who attends Vimy Ridge Academy. Solid athletic build with good present strength. Big side step delivery, pause during his mechanics, cross body at release, complicated delivery with lots of timing points to hit, high 3/4's to over the top arm slot from a full arm circle. Fastball topped out at 81 mph, mostly straight, primary fastball pitcher. Soft curveball with fair spin, rare change up, improving use of off speed important in development. Stuff was better from the stretch with a simpler delivery. Right handed hitter, barrel wrapped start, has some strength in his swing and some bat speed, ball comes off the barrel hard to the middle of the field, can develop as a hitter with a short bat path. 7.06 runner, has some arm strength and carry from the outfield, accurate throws. Good student.
