Edgar Jared Santiago is a 2020 IF/OF with a 6-0 167 lb. frame from Cayey, PR who attends Pro Baseball High School Academy. Long, lanky athletic build. Ran a 6.75 sixty-yard dash. Showed athletic actions rounding the ball in the infield. Flashed a high energy release from a high three-quarter arm slot with good arm strength topping out at 89 miles per hour. Showed the ability to move well to both sides of the infield. In the outfield showed athletic actions working to and through the ball while creating good momentum into throws. Flashed good arm strength topping out at 87 miles per hour from the outfield, Right handed hitter. Utilizes a slightly open upright stance with a high hand and back elbow set up. Employs a opposite field line drive approach with a downhill path. Showed good lower half mechanics creating good bat speed and ability to drive the ball through the infield.
