Stephen Restuccio is a 2019 RHP/SS/OF with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Hammonton, NJ who attends Hammonton HS. Strong athletic build, well proportioned with long limbs and broad shoulders. Stays tall on his back side in his delivery, has some energy to the plate, full arm stroke from a 3/4's arm slot, tends to pull off to the first base side on release. Fastball topped out at 91 mph, maintains well from stretch, mostly straight with occasional cutting action. Threw both a curveball and slider, best breaking balls are in between at 74 mph with some depth and feel. Good release on a change up he could throw more often. Right handed hitter, hanging leg lift load, looking to drive the ball and creates bat speed, strength driven swing with some projectability. Showed very good arm strength from the outfield, can also play left side infield. Good student, verbal commitment to Maryland.
