Brody Rice is a 2021 RHP/3B, OF with a 6-4 198 lb. frame from Lynchburg, OH who attends Blanchester. Strong build with present athleticism and room to fill out. Ran a 7.06 second sixty-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary infielder. Flashed the ability to work to and through the baseball with clean footwork and good range working to both sides of the infield. Displayed confident glove actions to go along with clean transfers into throws with developing arm strength and accurate carry to first base topping out at 73 mph across the infield. Right handed hitter. Employs a slightly closed stance. Flashed explosive bat speed with a gap to gap approach and a slightly elevated barrel plane creating consistently driven fly balls to and through the gaps in the outfield. Showed present bat speed and barrel control creating consistently driven contact throughout the weekend. Good student.
