Brandon McDaniel is a 2018 LHP with a 6-0 195 lb. frame from Johns Creek, GA who attends Chattahoochee HS. Solid athletic build with sloped shoulders and a strong lower half. Easy high 3/4's arm action with good length front and back, slow paced delivery and stays under control, will drift out at times causing his arm to be late. Fastball topped out at 80 mph, occasional arm side fading action. Change up was his best pitch today, has nice deception with ideal arm speed and some running action away from right handed hitters. Short curveball is effective down in the zone. Has an idea how to pitch and will continue to improve as his mechanics become more consistent. Good student.
