Colton Bowman is a 2019 LHP with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Bullard, TX who attends Bullard HS. Square shouldered strong build. Stiff leg raise delivery with a pause at the top, long arm in back and will show the ball to hitters during the pause, extended 3/4's arm slot creates angle, low effort release. Mid 80's fastball, topped out at 87 mph, has been up to 90 mph at PG events before, gets some running action, attacks with his fastball and throws lots of strikes. Short slider got off barrels well, let up once on his slider for a bigger curveball. Has an idea how to pitch and throws strikes. Very good student, verbal commitment to Oklahoma State.
