Nicholas Perez-Battistini is a 2018 OF/2B/RHP with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Westminster Christian HS. Strong, athletic build with broad shoulders and solid present strength proportioned throughout frame. Ran a 7.06 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, moves well to the ball with short steps, tight and compact arm action on throws with solid present arm strength and carry, quick arm action, extra step at release. Fields the ball nicely out front in the infielder, gets on top and shows strength across with arm strength that would play well at third base, soft hands, balanced actions charging in. Righthanded hitter, begins with an even stance and a high back elbow in the box. Full swing through the zone with a line drive swing plane, uses a toe tap trigger to starter short weight shift through lower half. Comfort working to the middle of the field, uses strength well to generate carry when extended out front. Very good student.
