Jovaal Hollingshed is a 2017 2B/SS, OF with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from McDonough, GA who attends Henry County. Medium, athletic frame with lean present build; very good projection remaining overall on body. Ran very well, posting a 6.82 seconds 60 yard dash time. Sets up to hit from wide-based, open stance with high hands and back elbow set. Big stride forward, compact inside-out hand path into swing, gets on line drive plane, working to the opposite field consistently with sprayed line drive contact. Worked out defensively in the infield. Showed good movements to both sides with efficient footwork and range, showed good fielding actions out front and works through the ball into crow hop. Throws accuracy across the diamond to 1st base.
