Seth Shadix is a 2017 RHP/OF/1B with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Fortson, GA who attends Northside HS. Large athletic build, good present strength with more to come. High energy delivery with a close to over the top release point, tends to spin off to the first base side on release, can improve his lower half use and direction. Fastball up to 80 mph, has been up to 84-85 mph frequently this summer, gets good arm side running life. Change up is his best pitch, very good deception with arm speed and late tumbling action at the plate. Slider is a good pitch as well, has feel for the shape with lots of 12/6 action. Works the bottom of the zone with all 3 pitches. Right handed hitter, has some hitting tools, strong swing with quick hands, hits the ball out front with solid line drive contact.
