Jackson Pauwels is a 2017 SS/RHP, 3B with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Wyndmoor, PA who attends Springfield Twp. Medium frame with slender, athletic present build and good projection remaining on frame. Posted a 7.55 seconds 60 yard dash time. Hits from narrow, slightly open stance with deep hand set, simple shift into contact, incomplete weight transfer, good hands with easy, simple stroke. Line drive swing plane with good barrel control, flashes ability to lift the ball, middle-field approach with ability to hit line drives all over the field, will develop into more power with additional strength gains and physical development. Showed good first step defensively in the infield, fluid and easy fielding actions, waits back on ball some, transfers ball from glove to hand quickly and cleanly, easy arm action with good accuracy and solid strength, with IF velocity topping at 77 MPH. Very good student.
