Mitchell Apple is a 2016 LHP/OF with a 6-0 140 lb. frame from Kenosha, WI who attends Bradford HS. Very slender young build, minimal present strength. On line delivery with a low 3/4's arm slot, tends to drift out front and leave his arm behind, easy low energy release. Mid-70's fastball, topped out at 75 mph, gets good arm side running action and will get some cut glove side. Soft curveball with a sweeping 2/8 shape, developing change up. Similar release point on his throws from the outfield with a long loose arm action. Right handed hitter, tall open stance with a leg lift trigger, short contact swing. Will benefit from additional strength in all areas.
