Cooper Mrowka is a 2015 SS/3B with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Cheshire, CT who attends Cheshire. Large, athletic build with broad shoulder and present strength on his frame with some room to fill out. Good athlete, ran a 6.90 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, moves well on his feet and shows nice range, soft hands with sound and smooth actions, strong arm on throws across. Right-handed hitter, starts with an upright stance with a slightly open base and a high hand set. Barred start, shows a fast and fluid bat through the zone while using a simple approach. Strength plays in swing, shows present power and carry to pull side with nice jump off of the barrel. Verbal commitment to University of Massachusetts. Named to Northeast Top Prospect List. Very good student.
