Jared Dole is a 2018 RHP/MIF with a 5-8 150 lb. frame from Bradenton, FL who attends Manatee. Medium frame with a lean, athletic build. Projects for additional size and strength with continued physical maturity. Primary right handed pitcher with a simple side step to leg lift delivery. Generated slight coil over back side at gather showing back pocket and numbers. Worked over front side well while driving to the plate creating steep downhill angel to the plate. Stay in line with the plate through extension and carries momentum well to the target. Fastball jumps out of hand well flashing heavy actions to the plate with late run to arm side. Consistently repeated arm action and tempo allowing for command to each edge of the plate with fastball as well. Also flashed at straight changeup with occasional sink to the bottom of the zone. Attacked the strike zone early in counts with fastball offering inducing weak contact throughout each inning of work. Good student as well.
