Jake Frasca is a 2015 SS/RHP with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Darien, CT who attends Darien HS. Medium athletic build, has some wiry present strength with room for more. Right handed hitter, narrow stance with a good shift into contact, quick hands to the ball, swings hard and creates bat speed, consistent hard middle of the field contact, gap to gap power, has hitting tools. Good infield actions, stays balanced well, soft hands and charges the ball effectively, can field out front more consistently, showed good arm strength with carry in games, foot quickness may have to improve to stay in the middle infield at the next level. Also pitched, arm works well from a high 3/4's arm slot, good extension out front. Fastball topped out at 84 mph with good cutting action, filled up the strike zone and was effective.
