Dylan Coats is a 2017 MIF/OF with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Frisco, TX who attends Wakeland HS. Has a medium frame and an athletic build with some room to put on additional strength. From the outfield, very good arm strength getting up to 91 MPH. Throws had very good carry and were all online. From the infield, the arm was also shown off at 85 MPH. Solid footwork with good range to his glove side. At the plate, right-handed hitter that starts with a wide base. Naturally has an uphill swing that generates some solid lift to pull side. Does a nice job of keeping his hands inside and getting extended on inside pitches. The ball is loud off the bat, looks to do damage with every swing. Outstanding student. Named to Top Prospect List.
