Dawson Pritchett is a 2017 RHP/2B with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Powder Springs, GA who attends Hillgrove HS. Lean build with room to add additional strength to his medium, wiry frame. Quick tempo to his delivery, able to maintain solid balance and repeat well, generates good extension out in front with solid, clean arm action and works to a high 3/4's arm slot. Fastball up to 78 mph, pitch shows solid armside run and also occasional cutting action, locates it pretty well down in the zone. Mixes in an upper-60's curveball with 11/5 shape, flashes good feel for the offering. Also works in a rare changeup. Tremendous student.
