Antonio Archina is a 2015 C with a 5-8 164 lb. frame from Albany, NY who attends Colonie Central HS. Short compact build, some present strength. Right handed hitter, spread stance, high hand start, rotational swing with a big stride into contact, long line drive swing, has a good feel for the barrel and squares up consistently to all fields, gets extension, hits to all fields. Repeats his mechanics throwing, accurate throws, 2.13 best pop time in drills, will need to continue to work on foot quickness in his release and in blocking. Good student.
